Our building has often been admired by architecture enthusiasts and several times we have been approaced to have it featured in advertisements. In 1993 a Hollywood Location Scout felt it was perfect for an upcoming movie titled "Made In America". The featured actors were Ted Danson and Whoopi Goldberg, and our building would be used for the bookstore "African Queen" that Whoopi's character owned.
